Most Common Dota 2 Mistakes, by Rank (Live Stats)

Live stats from matches reviewed by Highground: the most common mistakes, the share of deaths without information, and how ranks differ.

Twenty detectors go through every review and look for specific moments: a death next to enemies you couldn't see, a missed fight, gold that sat in your pocket for five minutes. The tables below are built from those moments.

We don't type the numbers in by hand. The site recalculates them from the latest reviews each time you open the page. While there are too few reviews, a note stands in place of the number.

The most common mistakes

The share of matches where the mistake happened at least once. One match can land in several rows.

Death without information

A hero died, and in the seconds before the death there were enemies nearby that his team couldn't see. Most often the player was farming at an enemy tower or walking through a dark jungle without a ward.

How ranks differ

A rank row appears once enough reviews have accumulated at that rank.

What to do

  • Before you walk up to an enemy tower, count the enemies on the minimap. Two missing? The camp can wait.
  • Check the minimap after every last hit.
  • Review your own match: the coach shows these moments on the map, along with what your team could see.

Every mistake with a map example is in the mistakes guide.
